Invited by the City Hall of Reșița, a mural was created on the wall of an abandoned factory – a site that reflects the city’s history of industrial decline, which led to the loss of a quarter of its population. The wall itself tells this story, yet through the mural it has been transformed into a symbol of renewal. The city administration now regards wall paintings as a tool for positive urban development. To emphasize this approach, part of the wall was carefully restored before painting: damaged sections were removed, dust was cleared away, and the surface was prepared with adhesion and a fresh white base – while the surrounding aged structure was deliberately preserved as a frame for the new artwork.
