The wall is at one of the city entrances, so the goal was to create something connected to the area. I spent time photographing the site in different seasons and incorporated the trees in front of the house into the concept rather than seeing them as a threat. The abstract design references the concrete block structures of socialist-era houses. Using a mathematical formula, the triangles gradually shrink toward the top, echoing how objects appear smaller at a distance, like the leaves of a tree. Many people commented after completion that they loved how the mural interacts with the trees, which was exactly the goal: an artwork that fully fits its space.
