During the residency at K-Bach Gallery, a free wall project was developed over several days, with the goal of creating something the local community could connect with. Exploration of the city included taking photos and visiting the Cambodian Water Festival. Held from November 10–13, 2019, the festival celebrates the rare reversal of the Tonle Sap River, a spectacular event featuring hundreds of boats racing along the river. The vibrant energy and colors observed on the riverfront at sunset served as the inspiration for the mural.
