We dedicate this artwork to 14 remarkable women* who have lived, worked, or currently contribute to the cultural diversity of Halle (Saale). Each column features a main color and abstract form reflecting her personality and work. Neighboring columns echo these colors, creating a coherent, dynamic composition in which each column also stands independently. The ensemble can be appreciated from all angles within the tunnel, and vivid, clear colors were chosen to brighten the otherwise dark space.

The artwork complements the existing portraits of historical men at Riebeckplatz, highlighting notable women* from the city’s past and present.
